Comcast or EPB

We have had so much trouble with Comcast. Had so many issues with internet and hardware and trying to get techs here, my wife is friends with a female manager there and only after talking with her were we able to get anyone to the house and fix it(2 trucks showed up on a Sunday which was cool). I would switch to EPB in a second if we could get it where we are in Ooltewah. I work online as a software consultant/developer and when inet is down so am I....

I just switched back to Directtv this past weekend and canceled my Comcast today. Too many issues with Comcast and never could get them on the phone or answer an email. I am so happy with Directtv. I know nothing about EPB.

Oh, BTW, we read in the paper a couple of weeks ago that AT&T is going to buy Comcast. Anyone else read that? emoBigsmile emoGeezer

EPB has that 1 Zigabyte of information per second deal where you can download a 2 hr movie in 15 seconds. Does Comcast have that too? If they don't, I would say EPB.

God I hate comcast so much. They are easily the worst company in the country. My bill was always wrong and the internet speed was never as fast as promised. EPB is actually cheaper when you factor in that you don't pay tax.

Comcast = fly rod
EPB = top of line G Loomis

We switched about 3 yrs ago. when I came home from work and saw the picture on our led tv I thought it was a upgraded tv. EPB hands down.

in my opinion EPB is hands down better than Comcast, ATT, Charter, or any other provider I have ever had. We moved a couple years ago and EPB is not available at our new place and I miss them - their product and their service is so much better than comcast.

I will agree with the others EPB by far. I have had it for over 5 years and have only had two problems (one was my fault -- loose cable). Their service is top notch, on time and they actually call before coming to let you know the time that they will arrive. Best service by far and the telephones are answered locally with knowledgeable people.

I just installed an antenna and amazon fire tv streaming box.I still buy hi-speed internet service from Comcast
for 50 bucks a month, but no more cable tv.
It's great.

We've had both. My wife works at home so Internet is a definite must have. Our internet connection was terrible with Comcast and they had to make service calls every few months. All they ever did was change out our modem. We have EPB at our new house and we've had zero problems so far.
