i have a post on the twra public input for 2012 think some of you should read.as for me at 25 cents a pound a cat over 34 in. is not worth the fine to try to sneek and keep more than one.as for comm.fishing is hurting the waters bass fishing is better now than ever, crappie numbers are great there more big cats being caught than before.you want to see things take a turn for the worse let them kill the grass then see what happens.

flipper, are you telling us that commercial fishermen are killing the trophy catfish for 25 CENTS PER POUND and have gone to the TWRA to try to get the limit dropped so you can kill as many as you can each day-for 25 CENTS PER POUND???? Somehow this sounds like a good idea??

This is so ridiculous that it makes me sick.

I am not sure what your asking, or telling us here. Is this a question or a statement. Do you agree, or dissagree with the 34" law? Side note:" If you think they are not abusing teh regs, your blind. They catch these guys all the time over the limit on the big fish, its rampant.

You know here is an idea; since we can't seem to ever have the commercial fishermen be happy with the status quo, why don't we suggest that commercial fishing be banned completely on Tennessee waterways? I am sick of these same people pushing again and again to destroy a great fishery so they can grind trophy fish up into cat food. If they don't like the limits that they have now, perhaps it's time they found another job to keep them busy rather than living off the natural resources of the state, and constantly trying to find ways to destroy even more.
