It will only take 1 cast to catch it. One can increase their odds of catching it by spending more time fishing on the lake. Thats my excuse that I'm going to use to get to the lake more often. LOL.

If it is caught this year itll prolly last a while with these guys killing fish to mount them instead of taking pictures and measurements to get their mount.

Just a quick comment. If one is caught it won't be an official one unless it is killed. I hope most guys and gals release the fish to have artificial ones done.

Yep some lucky guy or gal will I believe this year I’m not going to get into the replicas and mounting issues though just go rip those lips

Yep, that's the only time I'll keep one but don't have a problem with anyone keeping a legal fish. Maybe keeping it will disappoint some so they wont come fish thinking that was the only shot at a record in the lake! emoPoke
