At some point some folks must learn the hard way and get their -ss whipped one good time for being uncourtous and pulling in on others . Maby then they will ascoiate getting their -ss whipped with their reckless behavior. If they don't I suggest pick a different sport are get a tough chin. Its really a damn shame we have to post a rule not to run all over each other. I run the Monday nite out of Chesterfrost Iam seriously thinking about having no rules for how close you can get, you can even get in the other person's boat if you spot them with binoculars or the hubble telescope catching a fish doesn't matter. I figure with this it won't take long to get rid of the guilty . They will either get beat to death or shot.

emoScratch Is it really THAT serious?!? I think I'll just stay clear all together, because an attitude like that will make me go back to the man i USED to be. Thanks for all the info though. Seems to me like if you just exercise common courtesy everythings all good.

I've had it happen at both CFF tournaments this year. At Guntersville we were setting off the bank about a cast and a half with the boat pointed right at the bank when a boat plows through and set down between us and the bank. The driver jumped up and started fishing, but when the backseater saw me and what they had done he just sat back down in the boat and never looked at me again. I never said anything, but after a few close cast they moved on and still never looked at me. They weren't in our tournament but it doesn't matter.

Then on Nickajack last week a boat in out tournament pull in way up river from us and that was fine, but then he worked his way toward us and that was still fine. Then after he seen us catch fish he stayed right on top of us and if we caught a fish and our boat drift down with the current while we boated the fish he would let his drift down toward where we were. If you want my spot come back after I move. I'm all for public water, but when you do it trying to move me it want work. He was to close and he new it. I didn't say anything to him then or after it was over, because it's not worth the crap that gets started. I also noticed that we didn't have markers for our boats last saturday it may have helped or maybe not.

I try to practice courtesy and kindness in everything l do. But unfortunately most people mistake kindness for weakness. My temper is not what it used to be so my patience persists. When the fuse is burnt the bomb must blow. emoEnforce

I usually ask if the guy in front cares if I fish behind him. Since I have fished a hole and turn around and fish it on the way back out. And if it is a small slough and I got beat there I will leave it to them and come back later.

If anybody wants to see a perfect example of people being rude and fishing on top of each other, come down and fish this next weekend when the Big Bass Splash tourney is held outta GoosePond! lol It was retarded last year! When somebody cuts you off like that, troll over to em, wait til they cast, then cast over em and snag their line! Then apologize! You can't change people, cause some people just don't care.
