Parksville lake of course
Its been a week and a half since Ive made my way to Parksville and almost a week since Ive been fishing.

We hit the water at 6:15 this morning and were on fish right off the bat. Wewere catchingfish for about an hour and half in the first spot. Probably boated 13-14 fish in that spot. Had 2 spots going over 3lbs and a largemouth going 2lbs. Along with more 2-2.5lb spots. Also Colby had a really nice one going 4lb+ shake off. We couldnt tell wether it was a largemouth or a spot, it did have a pretty big head though.

We headed up the lake a little ways and tried fishing a creek. Over the next hour I dont think we even had a bite. So we headed back down to our original spot. We put another 5 or 6 in the boat with another solid 3lber by 9:30. The bite was pretty much gone after 8 AM. We finished our short 3.5 hour trip with 21 spots and a largemouth. Not bad, best 5 would've been about 13-14lbs. Best trip to Parksville I have had in a while.

All fish were caught on finesse worm in natural colors anywhere between 10 and 25FTOW.

Nice morning... hope to get out there again soon emoThumbsup

I'm very proud of it. Growing it out to donate to Locks of Love in memory of my sister, Jan Brackett. God gave me an abundance of hair so I am going to hopefully put it to good use and maybe it will provide somebody with a decent wig.

Yea, the young man needs a hair cut. I grow mine a little long as well but he is looking like a hippy. ;) Jmax
