I check in once every couple of months and am always disappointed.
To Fisherpal: R U fishing from the bank or from a boat ?
That will affect whatever advice I might be giving.
I do pretty well fishing from shore during the winter months.

Been a couple of weeks on Ft. Loudon,but found decent school with paddle tail jigs on a dock at 12 feet. Lake has dropped a few feet since then and available launching is minimal.

I would be fishing from the bank butit would have tobeeasy access as I am in a wheelchair most of the time. Had to sell my boat.
