took a early morning trip to the dam , caught 10 small blues and channels drifting with cut shad. I had started the morning tied up at the dam fishing with bream in the turbines, we left and drifted a while then came back to tie up at the wing wall. a short time later a lady officer with TVA told us we could not tie to the dam. I asked her since when? she said it has always been like that. I have fished there for over 40 years, have never been told to I could not tie up to the dam!

Huh, I have seen people tie up there since back the '60's so I don't have an answer?

Yeah I was there two weeks ago, fished for half the day with 3 other boats , all of us tied to the dam and nobody said anything!

I googled the question if it was unlawful to tie your boat to a damn in tn. It came up with nothing. was it twra that told you that or tva police. I am trying to get a answer. There is noting in the boating handbook that addresses this topic. I am 70 years old and have done it ever since I was old enough to and nothing has ever been said about it. Am going to keep after this.
