The last time i went in there from the river there was a sign on the brige that said no firearms beyond this point

I have seen that sign there for years. I am still absolutely mind boggled on how people can own a creek/slough/bay accessable from the main channel and post public waterways? So do you have to have permission to fish there? You would be tresspassing if not? Its looking like the general public is as clueless as I am, as where to find these kinds of laws in ink. Gotta love it! emoUSA

Richard is right on many fronts here. It is dumb. What happens is the police are called, your gun is confiscated and you get your day in court.

What I described happened to a guy I know. His lawyer told him "we can probably win but you'll have more fun if you stick your finger in a light socket".
