Once again we thought we had a great game plan but we still struggled as the fish thought otherwise. We blasted off and went straight to Wolftrver Creek. We threw shakey heads in brush and finally Ronnie caught a 12 in. monster. We made a move to another spot but nothing there. We moved again to spot no. 3 and got nothing. Finally we moved to the no. 4 spot and Ronnie caught our first keeper. i haven't had a bite yet. We moved to spot no. 5 which was a hump in about 13 fow and I had two bumps on a spinner bait but they didn't hook up. It was now about 11pm and we had one keeper. We mo ved again to another hump. I finally caught keeper no. 2 on a shakey head. Afterwards we both caught several short fish there alternating back and forth with the shakey heads and spinner baits. I think it was about 12:45am when I caoght our third keeper on a spinner bait. Ronnie then culled one of our fish out. We caught probably twenty or more fish but we just couldn't get anything of any size. The fish were in about 8-12 fow. The water temp was showing between 79 and 81 degrees. We caught more fish on the spinner baits than the shakey heads. Congrats to Mr. Coiuch and Mr. Petty on the win with I think just over 11 lbs. They aslo had big fish that was just over 6 lbs.
