Ronnie and I blasted off from CFP and ran down the river to a ledge. Ronnie made the first cast as i was unwrapping a shakey head rigged rod and got ate up but he missed the fish. I made my first cast and got our best fish of the night, probably around four pounds. Ronnie in the next few minutes had three fish to bite the worm hard but when he set the hook the worm would break off just behind the bend of the hook? All he would get back was about two inches of worm on the jig head. He called it his Ned Rig! He did it again later on in the night another time to make four. We caught about seven or eight fish each with six being keepers. I did catch two short fish on a spinnerbait later in the night and Ronnie did cull one of our fish around 1am. Otherwiss all our fish came on the worm in about 12-16 fow and early. Our three fish weighed nine pounds something, just shy of ten pounds but was good enouugh for third place. Congrats to Porkchop and Jbone on the win and big fish!
