I am reluctant to try and post a fishing report for today's day one CFF Classic because I have nothing beneficial or helpful to say. Ronnie and I started out hitting a grass area throwing spinnerbaits. Then our day turned into a day of junk fishing. We threw the blades, cranks, buzz baits, chatter baits, jigs, shakey heads, C-rigs, and frogs. We fished seven different spots and I think we caught at least one fish at every spot. We caught fish in 2 fow and on out to 25 fow. We caught at least one fish on everything except a crank bait, buzz bait, or frog. I believe we caught ten fish total and culled twice. We had five keepers that weighed 14 lbs. something to hold onto 2nd place for day one. Mark Eustice and Ray Blaylock is in first place with 15 lbs. something. Tomorrow we conclude the two day event at the Nick!
