FA escapes "SKUNK"...barely 8-16

I was getting ready to get on him about messing with my fish, but you beat me to it Richard!emoBigsmile This does remind me of the time at Watts Bar when I took Fat Albert bass fishing......same result.emoUpsmile Al, Madbomber turns the boat on me all the time. I have learned how to cast directly over his head and yell "look out" at the same time. Works like a charm. He would let you come up front and stand beside him, but he doesn't want his boat listing to much to starboard.emoUpsmile emoGeezer

Great looking Bass MB! I was out there tonight catching skipjack with my son thinking that I believe "skunked" is what happens when you sit home eating cheetos and watchin TV when you could be fishing.

Maybe FA is just getting warmed up for the first annual CFF Nickajack Drum Jamboree and Hootenanny Big Fish Tournament I'm thinking about for next Spring when the monsters get in there thick! emoThumbsup We have a world record fishery for them just a few minutes from town emoBigsmile

Are the bass below the dam that much healthier, ive never fished down there? Even the smaller 2 bass look to have bigger bellies on em' than anything ive caught up river.

those particular bass had stuffed their little bellies with small shad. Just a few days ago I posted a picture of a bass that should have weighed 4 lbs and might have weighed 2 1/2. Check out my post on last monday, 8-14. "mixed bag below dam" 8-14. It's on page 2.
