Live bait fishing has it's place...kids, kids tourneys, guide services, and when my shoulder hurts too bad to get the boat out or cast, and I wanna fish from the bank

. If you want a live bait Tx, set one up!

Fooling them is where the satisfaction is, IMHO...live bait is cheating...there...I said it...

I see no problem with your proposal BFG. The more the merrier if you ask me. Just keep all monies seperate. But, I'm not in it for the money, just to have a good time with good fellowship. Plus you might get some converts over to live bait when they see some gigantic sacks you would bring in. Just my .02.

I'm all about more participation and all... i think someone needs to set it up seperately if its going to be done. BFG's purpose for wanting to set it up is for all the right reasons. I say trail schedule as is, if someone wants to set up a live bait tourney in concert then fire away! Especially since the schedule master (FV) set it up as a standard bass trail.

I'm all for that idea ! So, BFG if you would like to handle the live bait side of the tournament ( holding and dividing out the money), then let's go for it. I would like to see the differance in the bags myself. Of cousre there would NO going both ways! You would either be using live bait only or lures ony. It obviously would have to be an honor system, so be honest people. I like the idea!!

I will handle the Live bait side of the Tournament. I will do them as long as their is some type of intrest. I'm looking foward to this.

What I'll do is when I get a sign up sheet for the Nickajack tournament up on here, I'll everyone to specify weather they are going to use live bait or lures. Sound good to everyone?

I think they should be run as 2 seperate events that just happen to be going out of the same place. You can sign up for bprice tourn. or bfg tourn. Somehow it seems someone came up with an idea and took over bprice`s tourn. thread with it. It should have it`s own thread and place on the calendar.

Just my opinion.

Just the words "live bait" will scare some tourny fishermen off. Sounds like a fish fry after tourny. I love fishin' with Live bait, but when I think of Bass Tournys I think artifical is the only way to go.

Whats wrong with a fish fry after the tourny? Get a bunch of guys that can catch a ton of fish and then we can clean them all and cook them up!emoPoke emoEvil emoBigsmile

nah! I don't see what the problem is I say invite the rest of the CFF family for a good ol fashioned fish fry.

Don't see that part of it happening. I'm all for everybody getting togather for a fish fry, but they don't need to be bass from a tournament. Crappie and bluegill would be fine though.emoThumbsup

Looks like there's going to be way to much opposition for me. And I certainly don't want to hi-jack someone else's tournament. Bprice I apologize for that. I'll just plan for another tournament some other time. Thank's for all the comments.

You probably dont want to do that on the Mud Creek boat ramp on a Saturday.
