Nickajack Angler - 4/13/2008 2:31 PM I vote Chick... preferably lower, but I'm game... I don't know any of it except what few times I've been there thus far. What about the Ramp by the dam at Amnicola? Large ramp lot and different than the CFP that everyone is used too. My .02

Just Kidding!

Chris, Yes, Dayton is Richland Creek. I would love to get on that upper end for one TX. See new water, try new areas!

All I have seen of that area is Richland creek, how far is the main lake from the ramp?

Mile to a mile and a half I think. I have run it a couple times and it does not take long. There are a couple area you have to slow down or you might get a ticket. There are bouys out to slow down and they sometimes wait there to catch those who do not.emoAngel Jmax

night tx all the way!!!!!! for the gas money to drive up and back + gas in my boat and entry we could fish the wall mart tx and more than likely not be out of pocket to much more. just my 2cents. either way i'll be there as long as there's not a cba that weekend

We have a night tournament in June. I'll have to think about it. I kind of like the idea of Dayton, but just not completely sold on it yet.

This whole series is more for bragging rights. I say we don't venture too far. Gas has been killing me latley as it does everybody. If we fish the upper end of chick. I probably won't be able to pre fish at all. I like the night toury idea, but it would definatly need to be the lower end. I'm up for chick or nick. I like having one once a month though.

Just go from Grasshopper. It makes the entire lake from Soddy Creek to Dayton area - including all of the Hi - easily accessable. Grasshopper has nice facilities as well ... the ramp, the dock, and the crapper all top-notch.
