Help Support Chattanooga Fishing Forum:

DK, your reports provided me a great crappie education and much enjoyment. Our trip in the boat was outstanding. You were disappointed in only catching a limit, I was ecstatic and it is still my best day. Thanks for being a leader on this forum for years and setting the standard. You modeled the way and will be missed greatly but not forgotten. I wish you the very best and God speed.

What a strange feeling. It's not surprising though. Dickey understood what this Forum should be about and used to be. He was very involved with me and FA when we were working toward getting the limit on spots changed. He understands that fish populations need to be managed and respected. He is the best at everything he does.

I doubt that anyone on this Forum has known Dickey as long as I have. He is the reason I am a member. I first met Dickey 56 years ago when we were both freshmen at Spring City High School. We have been friends ever since. Dickey was the best athlete in our class and maybe in the whole school. Because of his Family situation, he was limited to intramural athletics, as was I. I caught a few touchdowns during my intramural career and all of them were thrown by Dickey. I was not a member of the "in" crowd in High School, but Dickey was always kind to me.

When Dickey bought his first boat, he invited me to go with him on it's maiden voyage. I put the first bass in that boat on the first cast ever made from that boat. I still get a kick out of reminding him of that.

Dickey's decision to quit posting is the forum's loss. We will continue as we do . The "3 Amigos" will continue to harass the bass from time to time, Lord willing. That's what friends do!

DK,

There has been nothing but heartfelt responses from others before me. I do not personally know you nor had the pleasure to fish with you a - "Master Crappie Fishermen". I only met you one time when you gave me the free line as promised. I've shared it with 3 of my good friends.

Thank you for your life time of crappie fishing information you have posted to strangers and friends alike on the forum and your posts will surely be missed by all. emoApplause

God Speed; as you are truly one of the best men EVER to grace the pages of CFF. emoGrouphug
