Favorite HighSchool Football Team

Well, my favorite High School team no longer exist. The "City High Dynamo's ".
Some great players and coaches came out of there. Never forget "Tommy the Freight train Taylor".

I now pull for Hixson High School. To much turn over in coaches in the past few years to get things rolling. With the new school zones, it looks like they will have lots of potential for picking up some very good players. A lot of good kids from Big Ridge are now zoned for Hixson. Hoping that they get their program turned around this year.

Go Wildcats!!!

It is a long story why I do not like Northweest anymore but i wont go into that emoConfused . Sorry about that Dmorgan . I know that you went there . It may be better up there now

In all seriousness I would pull for MC over Da BOOins anyday. I respect the program they used to have with Napier. I know I hate watching those kids get beat up every Friday now that they went to AAAAA. That used to be one good matchup - The Battle of the Conasauga! Seem to always have a good'n when Dalton and MC meet! Dalton-NW used to pull some unreal crowds too!

Always some good rivalries in the NW GA area, I just wish SE would turn their program around. Those guys havent won much since the 80s!

You have to feel a little sorry for SE but I will give them this they try hard every week . I use to have to work at some of there games .
Really the team I like to watch the most is Calhoun yellow jackets . They are awesome to watch . I used to have to work some inflatibles down there

Go Southeast Raiders! The new coach is GREAT! You'll see a turn around. We had 50 kids last year we have 100 this year! We play Nw on the 29th of this month. We beat them in the passing game this summer at Calhoun. I think we finally have a coach that really cares. (along with the others they are great!)

i sure hope youre right 1309! i would love to see those boys turn that program around. The problem is, in my own opinion, that SE cant keep a coaching staff around long enough for the boys to get into the swing of things. When you hire a new head coach every 3-4 years theres no way the kids are going to believe in them and get used to their schemes as well as if, say, they had a solid coach to hang around for 8-10 years. I hope this new coach will be able to commit to the team, as well as the school commit to the coach, then maybe we will see SE start to make a turnaround.
