tried to get a top water bite at daylight with a buzzbait and sammy but came up empty. went to tubin soon after with only one crappie to show for our efforts. changed up to c-rigged trick worms and that decision fortunately kept the day from becoming a total wash. we caught some spots and green sunfish, and both hooked up on a nice LM in the mix. At one point I felt a weight and set the hook on a nice TN rig. Weather was great, but it got a bit windy toward the end. we left at three.

Come on guy. We all know you been trolling with that t-rig to nab those pretty fish!

Good save guys, ended with some nice fish. Frank if that TN Rig has 3 Storm Swim Baits, 4" I am pretty sure it is one I snagged up there a week or so ago. One chartruce bait and the other 2 kinda clear/silver. Now if you can just get those 2- 1oz spinner baits that went downriver I will have made an almost full recovery, emoLaugh

The topwater bite for us sucked as well. Last weekend topwater was on fire, but I guess the cold snap put them down a little.
