Blasted out of Mudd Creek around daylight after seeing jmax and stump jumper at Micky D's. I was fishing in the blind because the guy that went with me had never been there either. It took about two hours to find our first fish, which was about a three pound keeper. Caught it on a trap in about 10 foot of water dragging it on the bottom. Fished for about another hour and was beginning to think there was no fish in this lake lol. Moved out to the main channel on some shallow humps that I found on my gps. Finally found some fish. Staged up there for the rest of the day and ended up catching about twenty 14 inch fish, two more keepers and a 6.3 fat head. Could not get #5 in the boat. Partner had a big fish on for about 15 sec, but came off close to the boat. The fish came up twice and looked about 5-6lbs. Can't complain too much for the first time on the gun.

Nothing like a smart aleck to go down and rub in the amount of fish caught. Good to meet you today Madd Dog, thank goodness Churly and I saw your lures. If anyone else was at Gville today, that horrible smell was me stinking up the lake.

Nice pics there MD, if you had that fifth one you would have broke the twenty lb mark.emoThumbsup Jmax

Its nice to some fish from the "G". Living around here and fishing pretty much around here all the time, seems like you just don't see fish that healthy. Glad to see your first trip was a success, of course, the majority of the time on Guntersville you'll leave content. Nice fish man! emoToast
