Fish that got away 8/27/2006

Fishing machine, I use 7' med heavy rods and 20 lb trilene big game low vis green line all the time. I have the drag set to where a fish can't break the line unless I have been neglegent and have a bad knot, nick or something like that. I probably miss some deep fish (not as sensitive as braid) and will probably kick myself if I ever get a fish on like you guys had on, but I don't care. If I got a fish on like that and I was fishing by myself as I do most of the time, what in the world would I ever do with that sucker when I got him to the surface. I guess that I'd just look at him and cut the line. I certainly couldn't haul him in the boat.emoScratch I'm fishing for fun most of the time anyway and I'm tickled pink with those little 15-20 pounders.emoBigsmile emoGeezer
