Spent a couple of days with two fellow Ole Pirates on the Holler Monday and Tuesday and we had a ball. It was snowy, cold, and windy. I take my hat off to those two we ran probably 25 miles up river and stayed out all day and they never once complained about the cold. The water temp was around 43 up where the the Wolf and Obey splits and around 44 on the lower end. We caught fish on jigs and most were suspended. We ran into the Legend "Ole Butternut" around mid-lake and he resembled one of us in the boat and I will let yall decide. . We caught fish mostly on jigs and most were suspended. The wind was really blowing and I think we saw only one other boat all day Monday and thats what I love about the Holler. Loons,Eagles,Otters and Turkey is about all you will see during the week up there. About as Close to Canada as you can get in Canada
