Amazing story of a man who saw a thief take his truck & boat... but he took quick action, hopping aboard the boat and dialing 9-1-1 on his cell phone while speeding down the Interstate. After police made the arrest, what did he do?

Went fishing, of course.

That lowlife theif was lucky, cause when the cops finally had us stopped I would have took a boat paddle to his head. You can take my truck but you better leave my boat alone !!!

It's always good news when a thief gets caught red handed. And the owner still made it fishing. Great story.

I just got to add that with my view of the judicial system over the past couple of decades that I would not have been surprised if the owner had been arrested for riding state roads without a seat belt and being an illegal stowaway!

Maybe this will turn out with the criminals actually being punished instead of the victim.

I'll never understand why people will leave the engine running in their vehicles while they go into some place to eat or shop. I've seen too many stories about kids left in a baby seat in back that were in the car when it was stolen-several that did not have good endings. I'm glad the guy got his boat and truck back, and didn't get hurt. I hope he learned a lesson about leaving the engine running while going inside someplace. I hate thieves as much as anyone, and I'm not going to make it easy to steal something from me.
