When I am not in TN., I fish Galveston Bay, near Houston Texas.
A lot of guys had similar experiences, though they were fishing over diving birds. When an idiot would chase them around, they would drop a bag of floating chips over the side where the idiot couldn't see them. Then, they would idle away and watch the guy casting into the diving birds for a half hour (on the chips).
