I recently found on the weather channels website a "new" feature ( don't actually know how long it's been around that gives you the fishing forcast for the day and also predicts for a few days into the future. I don't know exactly what values are in whatever formula it uses but today the fishing slacked off around the time that it said it would, so it seems valid. http://www.weather.com/activities/recreation/outdoors/fishing/?from=breadcrumbs

I too "discovered" the Weather Channel.com forecasts and go by them to plan trips. I believe it is a lunar activity based forecast, it seems to coincide with the Bassmaster forecasts which are lunar cycle based. Local environmental conditions can void the forecasts though. I like to hit the water in advance of a weather pattern or right after one has passed through(with the exception of bluebird skys.)

Yeah I've used to Bassmaster website as well, but this one will tell you the best time of day too. And you search by zip code so I think that it probably takes the local forecasts into account.

Its seems to follow John Alden Knight's original Solunar Theory. That forecast is provided by a software company that offers a package that will provide forecasts from your computer.
