i got my sons bedroom dresser{5 drawers 4'x3'} after the wife got new ones,screwed berkley rod holders one on each side,this thing is awesome for storing gear!!

Brushog, the bedroom dresser idea is a novel approach. I think I will pick one
up at the next yard sale that I see. A very good idea.emoIdea

I have a building just for fishing gear and tackle so wall space wasn't an issue. I bought a section of 3/4" pvc pipe, 3/4" thick foam insulation and 3 straps spending about 8 to 10 bucks. I mounted the pvc with the foam on it, cut slits at intervals, and it holds my rods good. The weight of the combos rest on the rod butt, the rod only touches foam, and they are easy to get out and put back. I'm making labels to place above each one to keep up with line size, brand, and date line was replaced.

Of course I'll probably step on a couple of them my next fishing trip. A fisherman has no doubt what happened when he hears that unique "snap". The only reason to look down is to see which one got it !
