I went today. There seemed to be at least 4 boat vendors (icluding the used boat vendor), lots of rods, a few reels, and tackle. emoSmile No CFF signs that I noticed. emoScratch There was a reel repair company from White, GA that seemed real interesting and at least 2 trolling motor sale?/repair vendors.
Some good prices and some seemed high to this limited income (retired) member. emoGeezer
Thanks for sharing your observations! Can't believe that's all the dealers for as many there are in this area. Is this a newer show to the Metro area? And I thought Firefighters were POSITIVE people???emoPoke emoLaugh
it was pretty good. I would have liked to have seen more tackle vendors but maybe next year. joe burns and jon miles were both there and had some great looking rods.
The best deal I found, big bags of 4" tube lures in different colors for $1.00 ea. They were behind the concession stand back in the corner. They also had some nice All Star rods for $44.99 ea.
Nichols had two Hot Rods there, one had a Merc 300 Racing and the other had a Merc. 250 racing.
I also went today I did introduce myself to TSO. I also bought a couple of crankbaits from jawjerker. He does do really great crankbaits. Joes rods where at a really good price i thought. And of course i cant leave out my buddy John Swallows (ETM) one of the best TM repair man around.
Went today myself and thought it was better than the big show at trade center, more tackle people and good prices on rods,I loved messing with the two young boys working the soft bait sold by the weight, had them messed up tyrying to figure what one worm would cost me!!! hahahaemoLaugh emoLaugh good seeing TSO out there and thanks for the secret bait, will let you know how it did, John swallows was there too and crazy as ever I think he has sniffed too much solder over the years!!all in all a good time and friendly people thereemoBigsmile
I went this afternoon, I just got back , I spent a bunch of time there talkin to members ( mostly DropShot ), and vendors, had a great time, found some good bargains, I was surprised .. really pretty good show emoThumbsup
I was there Friday. Talked to Triton-LB for a bit and looked around. The rod vendors were good, and there was some good deals on sweet beavers. Better than last year, but needs more electronic vendors and tackle dealers. My problem is..I buy everything on-line. It is still cheaper( if you know where to go). So when I go to a show or to a "bass pro shops", I never find any deals that can't be beat so I never buy anything.
I spent alot of time there. Enjoyed meeting BBass and Bluebyeyou. Also saw ditchdoc and others. I was really impressed with how the show is growing. Some good deals on tackle. Went to the pond to throw the Secret Weapon spinner baits. Alos tried out an All Pro Rod. The best part for me was actually talking to the people who designed the tackle. You can get so much information if the person that you are talking with designed, built, tweaks and produces what you are buying.
