Fishing show at camp jordan?

Good show. Talked to a lot of friends (vendors and shoppers). Picked up some Beulah Jigs and some Triple Fish Fluorocarbon line.

Went there after church with Hangup. I looked at some great custom made rods. Talked to Phil from Pro Lures in Dalton. This seems to get better every year.

What do you guys think about those swimbaits that were being sold? the guy said they were not in chattanooga tackle stores yet but that they were being sold in stores around guntersville. has anyone heard anything about them?

I thought they were uglier than sin, they night work , but didnt look too hot to me .. If Im gonna fish big swim baits they are gonna look better than that .. looked like just big hunk of plastic .. cant see them have much action at all.. but then again if they were in the water might be better than they look

Thats what i was thinking. they are deff different. the way that the swimbait is suppose to slide down when u set the hook sounded good to me. its hard to throw a treble hook without any weight on it. i have had problems stickin fish with swimbaits in the past. i guess we will see how they do. but they are ugly. i will agree with that
