For several years I tried to put one together. The Yuge obstacle was Time and Perfect Location. I have resolved all that now. On any Sunday is always the best considering all inputs and seems to have the lesser exceptions. Saturdays conflict with TX.. A Location is Locked in in a Most perfect location with plenty of Parking and abundant Customers ready and waiting.. It is Near Exit #1 at I-75 within one mile of BPS near East Ridge, TN. I have made arrangements with the management of the I-75 Flea Market where you may have seen the Yuge Red/White Tent just off the interstate. The space is off Mack Smith Road behind Kinder's Warehouse. The Management has allotted any available section of the parking lot for special vendors associated with the CFF Fishing Swap Meet. The Normal set up fee on their property is $10.00 per designated space. However, I have a deal where spaces in the designated area will be $5.00 Per space.. Thousands of shoppers visit that Flea Market All day long. Unlike most Flea markets, This market is a mid-day and later market. The Hours are 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Sunday's get a boom of customers between 2 & 5PM. The people who visit this Flea market release their Money well.

I am planning to be set up there Under the tent this coming Saturday with an estimated Thousand High end Crank baits of many varieties. New in the Box Rapala lures sale for less than half price. On Saturday I plan to set out mostly Crank baits and a few dozen Low end fishing rods and reels. (March 31, 2018)

Kick this location around. I will manage the event and put it on the CFF Calendar if you guys are really interested in moving the massive amounts of equipment I assume you all have accumulated. A great place to come to stock up as well. David Worley

rsimms - 3/30/2018 11:19 AMSounds great! But I'm confused. You say, "On any Sunday is always the best considering all inputs and seems to have the lesser exceptions. Saturdays conflict with TX." But say you'll be there Saturday? That just mean you'll be there both days?Liveliner - 3/29/2018 8:08 PM

Kickerfish - 3/14/2018 12:43 PM Do you guys know if anyone does a fishing type swap meet around here? If not, what do you think about doing one? -Would you attend a swap meet? -Would you sell products at a swap meet? I was thinking about organizing one if there isn't currently something of the sort going on because I don't want to steal anyone's thunder. I think this would be a good opportunity to find some good deals on fishing equipment, because after all, we can use a good deal and more equipment, right? Also, this would provide everyone an opportunity for some fellow fishermen fellowship, and would give us an opportunity to de-clutter the garage. I'm just trying to test the water here so please let me know what you think. If you are interested in organizing a meet, feel free to PM me.

bassncorey - 4/15/2018 11:04 AM Do you have a time for setting up? I’m interested and will swing by to check it out. Will this be a reaccuring event? I would like to bring some of my baits to try and sell as well.
