Brian and i went exploring, this was like the 3rd time ive ever fished nickajack and Brian hadnt been in some time. we went fishing and looking and found some really cool looking stuff. lots of shorts(and small keeper spots) caught on topwater throughout the night. Brian caught our biggest fish on a frog before dark. worked our way back up the river. i caught a keeper lm on topwater and culled a little spot. Brian was fishing a jig and i was throwing topwater, while Brian was retying i picked up my jig and caught our other good lm and culled the other little spot. we needed one more good fish, ended with 10+lbs but was fun to explore and fish new water.

When Chick is 1/2 mile from the house it's hard to justify going anywhere else
