 Davo and I got on the lake around 7:30 this morning , wanted to try a couple differant places. First stop was not very productive at all. Hooked a nice fish right away, but pulled off. About 20 minutes later in the same area, I landed a 2.5lb chunk of a bass. Moved to more familiar water and proceeded to strike out there. On to more familiar water. Working baits between 2 and 10 foot we landed 8 more keepers with some nice 4lbers mixed in their. Davo had one pushing 4 , then within the next couple minutes davo hooks a beast of a bass!!! No lie, the fish had to be pushing 8lbs !! He had hooked it right under the boat and had fought it good and then....his line broke!!!!emoVomit emoVomit That was definitely the bummer of the day. We estimated our best 5 to be 17lbs and some change. Pretty good day. Davo has some pictures of some of our better fish.

Yep, was a really fun day, but losing that big one really stunk. Always, always, always retie after a good fish. All I can figure is that the 4lber I caught a couple of casts before boogered my line some. That fish was an absolute toad though. I'll get some pics later.
