fishlips, Chick, Crappie & Bass, 4/20/10, Solo

Had a fun day on the water in the rain. I started at 7:00am and fished until 2pm. Water temp was 66. I caught 17 crappie with 15 of those being keepers. Only one was 10", the rest was 11.5 - 13 inches. I caught them on BG Shads in 10 - 15 Ft of water. Every color seemed to produce. I switch gears and got the bass rods out. I caught about 12 with 4 being keepers. One weighed in at 3 lb 15 oz. I caught them on a shakeyhead with zoom finesse. 3 to 6 feet of water held the bass.

I had a first today...I was eating a PB & J sammich and I sat it down on the deck of the boat. I swung a crappie over the side and it came unbuttoned and landed right on my sammich emoBang . After I finally got my hands on it, the crappie had peanut butter on its lips! emoLaugh Yes, I still ate the sammich.
