I received my brand spanking new lakemaster card from http://www.djsmarinelectronics.com. Dude took care of me and had it shipped directly from humminbird so I could play with it this weekend. Sam and I decided to have a nice leisurely trip and put the boat in around 3:00. We anchored up where he had a 72 lber on Saturday with no luck. Seems that it is a early morning bite kind of place. We decided to run down river and see if we could scare up anything from some structure we know about before ending the evening at tbi's spot from the other night. We stopped at a tree I like and anchored up and dropped the baits around it. We get the baits out and before too long I was doing battle with the 66 lber. We were short on time to be fishing Ty's spot at sunset so we left shortly after I caught the 66 to go try a spot sam wanted to check out. Luckily it paid off and he managed to catch the sickest looking 50 lber I have ever seen. The fish had sores all along its gills and one side of its mouth was screwed up but it fought like a champ and added some serious weight in the boat. Shortly there after we could hear Ty's spot calling out to us so we moseyed on up river and got set up. We got tons of bites but no big fish both fish we landed were under 15 lbs. Funny how just a few days can change the bite that much.
