All of them does that. But I'm talking about 1/2 MPH or so? Hard to fish a Stump with a Drop Shot Rig at that speed.

Have a question????? How slow can you be moving and the GPS on these units show the direction your moving in? Reason I ask, is when drop shotting my H-Birds do not show me moving unless I above.7 MPH and that sucks when your trying to stay on top of a ledge and not much room to move and stay on top of the fish.

with lowrance you can be stopped and the GPS will show the direction you are pointed using a red arrow that allways shows your location on your map. when you change your direction say from the trolling motor,you will see your icon move also , unlike hummingird that uses a round icon so you never know . Hope this helps.

Thank you Vetran, was just finishing up on my research and you are correct. You can be setting still and achieve GPS direction with a red arrow showing location on your map.
