Got out there today and boy was it crowded. Soon as a boat would pull off a spot another would pull up. A couple of guys were just pulling right up into spots where others were already fishing. emoRedface
The crappie bite was pretty consistent today. Lots of short fish though. I didn't count them exactly but out of thirty some fish only five were keepers between 10 and 11 inches. Caught them all on just one BGS and a 1/32. It started looking pretty rough though by the end so I decided to put on a new one. I like to had a heart attack when I noticed I was down to my last two cajun crickets. emoEek They don't sell those things around here you know.

Good job Gene, under tough conditions. I hate fishing in a crowd, that is why I usually don't fish weekends. I may have to drop Friday too as it is getting crowded. That or start fishing up lake more. I fondly remember the days on Lake of the Woods when you wouldn't see another boat all day. Thanks for the report. I have some Cajun Crickets that might be for sale. Of course they are really in demand now so will be a little high, lol.
