Getting crowded on the lake-while fishing boats pull up

I had this happen Saturday morning 2 guys in a nitro came in on me ask was I fishing a tournament I said no
They said we'll we are fishing a club tournament we caught fish here in the practice day so if you don't mind we need to fish here. I told them I was here first they told me we can share the spot or you can leave
Needless to say I didn't leave

A good reason to carry a portable air horn in your boat.

My experience. The newer, the nicer, the bigger the ride, the bigger the jerk. Both sporting and pleasure.

a one ounce spoon works really well. First cast right next to their boat, and if they keep coming a shot right into their gelcoat usually does the trick.

i like a 1 oz jig with 65# braid put it across the boat then tie it off and start going the other way and watch them trying to cut the line to stop you from pulling their rods and any thing else that is sticking up out of the boat that told you to leave in to the water next time they want be so fast to ask you to leave
