Well, I guess we found out the Vols seem better this year then last year but going up against a top 10 SEC team they still lack the needed weapons to get a win as in the 34 to 10 lose against OK who was ranked 4th. My Hogs beat up on the Texas Tech Red Raiders(49 to 28) this past weekend. They destroyed Nicholls the weekend before in a (73 to 7) practice. But they have one of the worst schedules in the SEC and are about to go up against something like five of the top ten teams in the nation. emoBangThey got the NIU Huskies next weekend but the following weekend the real games start with TX A&M. So much for them looking really good this year. I just hope they can win a couple in upsets. emoAngel Jmax

The Vols did impress me. They didn't get blown out like people thought and they played four quarters. Heck, until the QB threw the late pick six they were right in the game! The score didn't do the Vols justice. I agree with the enthusiasm y'all have now.

Maybe i was exhausted from coaching a double header before the game plus i had a few of the drinks that make me feel like NCAA football coach of the year, but was it just me or why didnt we make an adjustment to account for Striker? I felt like he had a clean look at Worley whenever he wanted. Proud to be a Vol and the future looks bright. Oklahoma is a HARD place to play, especially when theyre good. Not a blow out and could have been closer. Just a little tune up for this weekend between the hedges!!! Them Dawgs are wounded and the Vols are coming to town to take care of business!!

What is exciting is they are faster, stronger, and playing 4 quarters of football. I think the future looks bright with Jones at the helm. He is very passionate about football and a good team and he knows it takes time to develop. He also knows that he has a chance to make a name for himself that he never had at other places.
