Good Example of How Politics Can Affect Fishing

The sad thing is that the fishermen that fish Norris probably support this lunatic. Vote that guy out of office. Let his 2nd term be a prison term. emoGeezer

I have met Ed Carter and he is a stand up guy.

The commission was established to rid us of all the politics that had been the norm for so many years and it is really sad that we just can't seem to get away from it. Some momma's boy will holler ouch and it starts all over again.

I don't agree with the Norris issue but I was there at the commission meeting and voiced my opinion. It was well advertised and those very same complainers decided not to visit and share their opinions. Now they have decided to cost the state even more money. Just what we need in this economy.

The TWRA should be uninfluenced by these political tactics. Rep. Faulkner should have the balls not to use another legislators as pawns in these personal interest games. I will stand behind the TWRA.

We all know what a great job TWRA has done for our fisheries here in the state of TN. I have many friends in states close that drive up here just to fish. I have only had one issue with a TWRA officer that was a smart @$$ but still went and checked the guy that almost ran me over. I support what TWRA does and urge everyone else to do the same. I guess I need to start sending emails to the powers that be!

Right on track. I plan on emailing my representative and expressing my opinion that we need the TWRA, and that it should be able to manage our fisheries and wildlife resources without the threat of being held hostage to petty politics. I would urge every member of the forum, regardless of how they feel about this particular issue, to do the same.
