Man! If you did not make it by the lake today you missed it. It is starting early this year today on the Chick. I went by there at about 10 this morning and there was no places to park at Wolftever or HBSP. Both parking lots were full. emoEek Looking out across the water I could not begin to count the number of boats. Between the Heartland and the Rod Benders tournaments plus folks pre-fishing for the CBA next weekend and any out just for fun fishing the lake was really freaking crowded. Looked like a take a number and get in line day. emoDoh WOW OH WOW! Gonna be a busy year. emoGeezer Jmax

Ya... It was crazy. Bite was super slow and everywhere you wanted to go had three boats on it already. I was at pinkys point and counted more than 20 boats within eye shot. I didn't expect the water to be so stained.

And it's February wait till April and May it will be worse. This lake is to small for all this pressure.

Yes it did suck. One LM around 2 lbs and two big crappie's that I snagged just below the dorsal fin. There was also the big HS tourny out of the dam ramp.
