Grass hopper creek sprayed today. Guy doing the spraying got a phone call, loaded his skiff and said he would be there at 2. Phone number on his truck 888-67-PONDS.
 
I'm the outdoors reporter for the Times Free Press and am working on an article about this issue. Would you be willing to talk to me for a couple minutes about this? Please shoot me an email at [email protected].
 
Hopefully someone will offer you a boat ride to check the areas in question. I also hope aTVA. biologist will talk to you also. We need to hear both sides and find the truth.
 
JEEPnFISH, I was fortunately able to both. I'd like to talk to a couple more fishermen, who are willing to use their names, about the issue as well.
 
Just a question and was wondering myself remember the big boat that everyone was complaining about last year the big yatch, anyone ever consider that the guy that had a lot of money paid to spray everything and that's where the funds came from?? Just my opinion over everything going on and sad to say if I had a ass load of money and wanted to make some ppl mad I would! Sad to say that's what I think happened
 
They aren't spraying anything different than they usually do . It's growing all over now , it's just way behind . Caught fish out of or above grass for 6 hours yesterday .
 
I'll second that. I've spent 6 days on the water in the last 10. Mostly in the shallows but I'm now seeing short grass in the 10-12 range and the shallows are starting to mat. Can't say the fishing is any better but...
 
Todd9433, the meeting was awesome! It was a little difficult picking the kids up at McCallie and GPS but I made it. You brought up some interesting points and facts. If some of these people wanting to bash you would have attended, they wouldn't be so misinformed. I would like to set up another one, what do you think about Chattanooga G&CC ?
 
If someone disagrees with you they are an %#@hole. Act like a reasonable adult with more than a 5th grade education. You "pro" fishermen go in debt over your eyes to buy a boat, starve your kids because you can't afford groceries, and think the river belongs to you ! News flash bro, TVA owns the river and can do whatever they wish to it. The sooner the dead grass the better, for recreation sake. Besides, when did Trumpians become so concerned with the environment.

A reasonable adult with more than a 5th grade education wouldn't continue to create accounts here just to start arguments, like I said you are an asshole, the same asshole that has created multiple accounts with the same agenda. Get a life.
