Beeman R-7 .177 Very nice Swift 4-12X40 scope and quality scope mounts. Trigger pull has a nice easy adjustment to suit shooter. I have the original hooded sights in case you wanted to put them back on and use the scope on a deer rifle. I have used Swift scopes deer hunting... the glass is very good quality and they are well made. I have all the receipts/docs/instructions/decal and the original box in case that is important. All are in excellent condition.

These were bought in 2003 and has been standing in a gun case.I have only used part of a 250 ct tin of pellets. With one particular pellet this thing is very accurate and consistent. I have right at $400 invested total But I am not expecting to recoup investment of course. This is not a "Daisy"... don't get me wrong, Daisy makes a decent rifle but there is no comparison between them and a Beeman Precision Rifle.

I willconsider any offers of cash or fishing related trade. Just don't have a grandchild to give it to and it would make a youngperson very happy so take a look if you have a young hunter in family. I will even throw in some ammo ! emoBigsmile

* Prefer cash but I need a decent Fish Finder / trolling motor / rods & reels ... other ? Just make any offer-... we'll see.

Cheez this one is a 700 fps rifle. Ease of use, mild recoil, and consistant accuracy was Beemans goal on this one.As for hunting... head shots on squirrels and rabbits would work but I would reccomend this as more of a "primer" for an up & coming hunter or as one of the best plinking rifles a kid or adult could get.CHEAP as heck to shoot ! emoLaugh

I think the trigger adjustment can be easily adjusted to 16 oz. 3 lbs to 1lb if I recall correctly.

You can google Beeman R-7 and get lots more info on it. Check a few searches on it... I have never found a negative review on it. I would trust you to try it out a day also if you want.

Thanks for asking

Thanks Mutt but I was wanting something in the 1000 plus fps range. On occaision I have a need to remove some larger varmints from the neighborhood without attracting attention. :)

Cheez you might want to look into a .22 Pellet rifle @ 1000 fps You can get a little more ENERGY out of that heavier pellet and still keep it sub-sonic.

They make air rifles in the 30 cal range but they are fairly loud I would guess and VERY expensive.

... I'm still looking for those Tennessee Tarpon, I'll let you know if I find any.

Thanks Mutt. The rifle is not a real priority for me but if I find the right one at a good price I'll jump on it.
Keep looking for the tarpon. If I don't get any by the end of next week I suppose I will make the trip to Wheeler or Pickwick.

I wish I had something to trade brother.... I'd love to get Louie that gun! It is very sweet. I had a Crossman when I was a kid.... it brings back great memories. I fell in love with it after I shot all the .22 bullets we had at the house. My Dad pointed out the error of my ways and I was off with that gun. I've used the Beeman and agree there is no comparison to the daisy or crossman. The german one that breaks like a shotgun is pretty nice too. I'll look around here for something you'll trade. Maybe you and Danny can come out to deliver and we can fish the Pick!

Cheez you need to check out that .22 ammo called Calibre. It has no gun powder and only shoots from a hot primer. It is as quiet as a pellet gun and I promise will do the trick. Spurhunter gave me some with my purchase of his ruger. If you like I could give you some. Im sure youve got a .22

cb short by cci is super quiet i use it to shoot in my back yard when i cant make it to the range or hunting club to satisfy my needs to shoot. my dad uses them to hunt crows and kill them just fine

cheez for sure check out the cb caps ( its their name on the box) by CCI that runabout is talking about. I used to shoot starlings with them in middle valley when I was younger and lived up that way
The shorts are louder but have a higher velocity. Also CCI used to make (not sure if they still do) .22 cartridges called cb .22 long, not long rifle, but just long. They were just a cap with a dash more powder. Just check them out at sportsmans warehouse
