What is your opinion of crypto currency?

I would buy pot stock before I bought that stuff. My biggest concern is it truly has no real value. It is worth something until something better comes along and takes it's place. How do you ever put a value on a "thought" of what you feel something is worth that has no real value. emoScratch I think the boom is over. If a person can guess what the next hottest thing to hit the market is, buy it before everyone else does and then sell it before everyone else stops buying it they will be multi-millionaires very quickly. The issue there it trying to figure out what that item is. emoBang Jmax

I hope you heeded my advice on that question. Bit Coin has lost half of its value in the past year. The Crypto Currency Market has lost 19 billion in the last 24 hours. I would be running for the hills in this market. emoEek Jmax

its interesting to hear someone that has participated in the market that long advocate for trying to time the market. If you look back at the gains you would miss by being in cash for even a day or two when the market surges you might find that you would have missed out on a large part of the gains that would have been available to you.

I don't anymore. I am out of that business. I buy and hold. At 60, I just buy solid mutual funds with a long good track record. To be honest I buy American Funds, Lord Abbott Funds and Hartford. Then within those stocks I diversify. I sleep better at night doing this. emoAngel
