Hello. Coming down to Cleveland, TN to drop our son off at Lee University Aug. 20. We will spend some time in area and I'm looking to find a guide for some bass fishing. I'm from Illinois and not familiar with the area. Can someone point me to some resources to find a guide? Really appreciate it.

Rogne Brown guides on Watts Bar, Chickamauga, Nickajack and Guntersville. www.tnriverguide.com

Steve Kite and Chris Coleman is another option for Chickamauga chattanooga fishing guides

Jeff Reed is yet another option for any of the area waters chattanooga bass.

All of these guys are goodcheck the websites and see who is available for the dates you're in town. Or better yet give them all a call and see what they have going on and pick from there.

As long as this thread is going, you wont stop hearing about tnriverguide.com. He is probably you best bet for a sucessful trip once you go. You'll hear this a thousand times before its over. Best of luck and we hope you like it here.

Thanks again for all your suggestions. Not knowing the areas, this really helped me. Ended up in northern GA and fished Carters Lake with Louie Bartenfield. It was a hot day and we were fishing drop-shot in deeper areas in the afternoon. The bite was tought but Louie put me on to some nice spotted bass. We caught about a dozen for the afternoon. Louie is a really nice guy and very knowledgable. It was sort of like fishing with a buddy- I really had fun. Thanks again.

Thanks again Kirk !!! I too enjoyed our trip !!! It was HOT and the bite was a bit slow but we made a decent 3+ hours of it. Glad you got the chance to catch a few of our mean Spots. Thanks again and hope to see you and your partner this fall/winter.
