I'm curious if/when h20 will start making plastics? i hear they're hooks are very similiar to gamakatsu's

I have a couple of Lucky Craft I use in early spring and love. Last year I purchased one of the H2o big deeper suspending jerk baits in chartruse shad and caught my best fish on it.

I use Gama's but they don't seem as sharp to me. I bought acouple H2O's and hoping I get to try them out tomarrow. After checking them out, they have some real good color choices, so I'll definantly get some more. As far as the plastics, it's hard for me to give up my Zoom's, so we'll see lol

H2O is the Academy brand. Academy has tackle companies that make the lures, tackle, rods and reels for them. I have used several of the H20 lures and the action of the lures are great. You get a good lure for a great price.

hmm a zoom fan? im definatly on the havoc wagon i love them, and im not dropping gama's for h20 i mean h20's are still $3 for size 3 offset worm hooks so it's not worth the extra hook for poor quality. but who knows they might not be bad

I don't know about you, but I can't give my Gama's no matter how cheap other hooks are, it's a confidence thing I guess, been using them for years. As far as Zoom, I've been using them for years, but to me they are a "quantity" bait, not a "quality" one. As in you'll catch fish but they don't always bring in the bigger fish. What colors do you recommend with the Havocs?

I don't have any of their stuff, but here's what I can tell you from my research:

H2O Express is Academy's exclusive brand.
They're made in the same factory by the same workers with the same molds as Lucky Craft.

In the havoc i like the pit boss (a skeet reese designed bait) and the slop craw (another skeet reese bait). I have them in pumpkin and from what i'm told they are truelly colors designed by the pro. the pit boss is a beaver style bait (i like pitching in some coverage). and the slop craw i pitch in nasty coverage with a weighted hook on both, also the kvd mustad's aren't a bad hook just kind of expensive
