Help Support Chattanooga Fishing Forum:

I was always under the assumption that you paid one spot for up to 9 boats and two for 10 thru whatever, but I'm not complaining. I thoroughly enjoyed myself yesterday and have no issues with fishing more. Actually, with gas as high as it is, I thought $15 was a welcome sight. Good on ya, Chris!

No different than any other tournament - a gun is held to no one's head to force them to fish.

I believe the confussion came into play becuase when we first started the ol' CFF Txs we had a format of Less then 10 boats was winner take all, 11 to 15 was 2 places, 16 to 20 was 3 places and 21 to 25 was four and over 25 boats was five places.;) However we have always said from the get go that it was up to the director of the Tx the format of the Tx and the pay outs. I also had no issues with it and will fish any others that we have that I can as well. I had a great time and enjoyed the jawing before blast off just as much as the Tx itself.emoGrouphug Jmax

I don't know what anybody is complaining about? It was a very well run tournament. At $15 a boat you shouldn't pay more than one place. Good job Chris.

Wasn't there, don't care but at $15 a boat I'd pay winner take all everytime. MOST tournaments do pay 1 place per 10 or 12 boats but this tournament has different rules. It's the same people who run the Fam Traditions trail and the rules are 1 place/15 boats, why should anyone expect different????? The rules are displayed here, are they not Chris?

I got the $50 for big fish at the Bait tx yesterday, I didn't expect to get big fish money w/ only 7 boats or whatever there was, I expected the tournament director to say before blast off that it would be winner take all I'd have been completely fine w/ that. The way I look at it is if I'm lucky enough to win, I'd rather atleast get enough to pay my HALF of the GAS, and if not I'll be back and try again next time so long as I can afford it.

I post the rules before each tournament and somewhere on here I have the payout slots posted. I haven't changed a single rule since I began running these in April. Hate that people get offended by such simple things, but that's life I suppose.</p>
