New to kayak fishing and the area. Heading to Harrison Bay for the first time, any tips on where I might get into some fish and the best place to launch?

Wolftever boat ramp would be a decent area to put in. Or if you turn left off of 58 towards the state Park there is an area on the left you could slide a kayak in. Good luck have fun!

I like that area right off of 58 on the left as you enter the park. Nice area to put in and some decent fishing nearby. Thanks for the heads up.

I would go about 5 miles passed Harrison bay to Skull Island. I have had great luck fishing around the islands all around that area in my Kayak!

I've heard some other guys say that vehicles are broken into up there. Ever hear anybody having problems there?

I have not had any problems at the boat dock! That's good information I wasn't aware of!

another good spot is up at Savannah bridge of snow hill road. lots of shallow water so not a lot of boats to worry about. However, there is a few jet skies zooming around.

Saw glass all in the parking lot last week from a busted window at skull. If i were you I would keep a sniper rifle with you and stay where you can see them break in. Catch them in the act and cap them between the legs so they can lay there and suffer.
