I was just cutting through the family room and had left OLN on and they had Bassin University on and was using a bait that I had to have. I called around and no one had it, not even Bass Pro. I finally called the makers and got hold of them. I ordered four packs of eight each. It is call a "Reaction Innovation Trixie Shark" and I am telling you I think that one is going to be a killer. Soft plastic top water buzz bait that you rig Texas style and when you got a strike you drop your rod and let them have it a second like a worm and than set the hook. New for 2006. That thing looked like it will go over anythingemoThumbsup Bprice, now there looks like something that was made for the Big G with all its grass and stuff that you have got to fish in and through. I can't wait to try them.emoTongue Jmax

I have seen them both and that one has a better splash and looked to me like it ran better. Really made a bubbling wake behind it.emoThumbsup It made a good comotion and water output. Jmax

TT, I believe the dude in charge of creating names for Reaction lures is a retired porn star;).

I know several of you guys on here make your own lures .. which I think sounds interesting as heck! Do you all have names for them too?

I was looking at one of my lures the other day trying to figure out how in the world a person could make one of those! It was a bandit crank bait .. Tennessee Shad 200 Series. I used to have that dang lure in every series size ... it caught fish too! I remember riggin up the Stratos boat with fishing gear getting ready to head out in the spring and going on line and buying 4 of those in every size. (whispering) The trees around Harrison Bay and the area around the coast guard place has trees that have snatched my favorite lure many many times ... unretrievable! I know that's unbelievable but sadly true!

I used to just pull the heck outta the line and try to jerk the cranker out of the trees! Until one day ... wack ... got 2 hooks through the shin! Of course hubby kinda freaked out .. don't know if he was freaking because the hook could have found him .. or because it was in MY leg. He wanted to run to the doctor's but I wasn't done fishing ... got out the plyers and nipped off the barbs and tied on another Tennessee Shad! I love fishing!!!

i have used speed worms and big grubs this way. i have caught a few fish doing it but it is really no better than a buzzbait.
