GAfisherman - 11/29/2016 12:37 PM Aww Leanard I still love ya. I don't hold any grudges, I expect you to be at the next tourney. I will say this, we might rub each other wrong on occasion or get mad but I would still do anything for most everyone on this forum. I hope y'all have a great week. Sorry I took it the wrong way.

Shouldn't you be out guiding

I bet from now on you forget about those kids and stupid job and get those results posted!

That's a lot of bark from a little pup like yourself. Why don't you get some real tires on that junky truck! Who lifts a truck with slick tires.

Yeah- CBA is the worst about getting the scores posted and maintaining their website! Also, myself and some others will be dropping out this year as they advertise as being an amateur bass organization and allow elite pros to come in and win. many other issues as well.

Hate to hear you will be dropping out. It has always allowed guides and pro's to fish it. That is nothing new, Buddy Gross was fishing these long before he was a pro and Rodgie has fished them as long as I have lived here. It is a concern about the website, use to be done better but the last couple years have really been poor. Pictures all but have stopped and the results is late and in the case of the Classic this year still not posted. The bad part is come January there will be another push to get ads sold and sponsors for the tournaments, one of the perks is getting your company name on the web. When it is not kept up that is not much of a perk. :( Needs to be looked at, that is for sure. emoScratch

CBA's have always allowed anyone to fish their tournaments.

Yes but they loose a lot of weekend fishermen because of it I personally don't mind but know a lot of people that do The competition makes me fish harder

I absolutely agree that it was a struggle this year with the results. I think we have a really good plan for having the results up quickly this coming year with CBA. As I know has been stated, Chase stepped into to help because I didn't have anyone else that was willing or able to do the results and knew how to manage the website etc... He also had agreed to do that prior to finding out he was being shipped off to Japan. As for the competition that is really the unique part about the CBA and its heritage. It has always been and always will be an open format. If KVD relocates to Chattanooga he will be welcomed to fish the CBA. I for one think it is kind of funny that people get upset about pros fishing the CBA's. These guys have less time to spend on Chick than the rest of us do and results generally show that. I also think its funny that people complain but aren't willing to step up and help. Getting people to be willing to be an officer is very difficult. It is an un-paid position in a business. We work year around raising support and doing various things that isn't financially compensated. Yes we get 9 free entry fees in the tournaments but out of the 52 weeks there isn't a single week where I am not doing CBA work at some level. I'm sure the compensation is well under $1/Hr.
