Helix 7 problem

What kind of trolling motor bracket do yall use to mount the mega down imaging tranducer on? It came with a transom mount but that wont work went to bass pro and got the one he said I needed that don't work. It's the skinner tranducer cant find what I need

Guess I should have done more research on the hummingbird seems like I have to get another transducer just for the trolling motor. I've always used lowrance and never had an issue with this.

Dunno that I would call it an 'issue'. HB just relies on a wider selection of 'ducers. You'd think they'd've made a single, multi-functional unit by now, but no. I believe it's an interference thing (but don't quote me on that). When I made the move to downscan I had to replace my existing 'ducer. When I added the 360 I had to replace it again.

All this said, I believe you'll find the HB to much easier to use, navigate. The user interface is much cleaner, simpler. Fewer buttons to push, faster to get to your setting. You'll like the clarity and resolution of the images, too.

I just took it out and I just used the tranducer that came to see how it would do and it looked good no interference.
