Best thing u can do at this time, go out in woods with caller, try calling some in before u spend a fortune on equiptment to kill with. IF u can call them in , then get u a wepon of choice......... emoEnforce ...... emoGeezer emoUSA

Never, Ever, ever call to turkeys before you have a gun aimed at them. Unless of course, they are your buddies turkeys, and you want to screw up his birds...not that I have ever done that.

Be glad to go with you and help you learn about the birds........i wont even bring a gun. Ilike the calling up part, and to see how close i can get to them. Be glad to help you any way i can.

emoLaugh I think that he does. I know i cant wait for turkey season to open up. Im good at callin the birds, just after i call em in and get to where i can see them good and shoot theses always something go wrong cause i hardly ever get my birds. only got 1.

Might not want to start calling in an area you plan to hunt in a few weeks, it may spook smart birds. I prefer a moss 835 26-28" or Remington 870 26-28" chambered in 3" or 3.5" Good Luck!
