Herbicide spraying schedule

they have already sprayed in park once that i know of. It was in paper, had a picture of a guy on all terrain vehicle spraying the hell out of the bank with a new herbicide and was to eliminate grass before it gets started ! I posted a report about it the day before they brought the water up and it has definitely affected my fishing from the bank Has poisoned the whole water column in my opinion and they want to do more ! Would like to see them let their children swim and play in poisoned water, let alone drink it , and our fish are supposed to survive ??? REALLY?!?!?!? Totally sucks , and yea , they are definitely getting rich !

I don't think he really means it. He just hates seeing people pollute our water. Oldman really does have a tender heart. (I kinda giggled inside when I read this b/c my wife was just getting on to me for blowing my lid on saturday)

How are they going to spray what isn't there yet?

I graphed good grass all over the lake today. In 10 days it has grown well over 1 foot. almost 2 feet! Now probably say goodbye to a lot of it. Hope for the best I guess.

I know there are some restrictions nside the river gorge, but the can spray access areas and private docks below the gorge. Whats stupid is the grass isnt doing much yet and they are just trying to make a healthy living dumping herbicide in the drinking supply for millions of people

I thought you said they didn’t spray up here and it was weather current water clarity etc

That's not what he said at all. They have sprayed for years, what happened last year on the lower end wasn't entirely from spraying

The argument last year was they didn’t spray and it was only due to current stained water and weather that’s exactly what was said by several members here pull it up and look at it! Now that there are pics of them spraying the word is they have done it for years and getting rich off of it! Again look it up everyone wanted pics last year of the air boats but none were ever posted and it was even said that members had meetings with tva and that they were sure of it that there was no spraying!!!!!

who can come up with a petition to present to TWRA, who can ban spraying grass on our lakes, nothing is going to get done about it on here b!tching. TWRA needs biologists doing sampling on the areas being sprayed, to see what toxins are being poured in our drinking water, and our fishes habitat. close monitoring the water to see what harmful effects come from the chemicals that are used. I'm sure there is one of you gentleman/ladies that are capable of formatting a petition, ill sign it

No, they spray every year. Grass or no grass. They spray my parents neighborhood. They did twice last year and there wasn’t a sprig of green grass in the whole
Slough until late August last year. There’s grass popping all over the lake this year. Way more than last year. Also our water was much more stained, and we have already hit 80 degree water temps. Last year it was mid July before the lake got that warm. Unless we have some huge rains this summer, we will have plenty of grass.
