High School Tourney Oct 4 with BASS

Grundy County will host a tourney Oct 4 on Nickajack out of Shellmound for area high school teams in conjunction with the TN Bass Nation. Teams that are registered either with BASS High School or SAF may fish but you must be registered with one or the other for insurance. Entry fee will be $20 per boat. Johnny Pickett from TN Bass will be on hand to assist with the tourney and let everyone know what's happening with BASS High School in TN.

There will be plaques for the top 4 boats, a school plaque for the winning boat and a big fish plaque. There will be various prizes. The payout will be in cash based on the number of boats entered. Please spread the word to the area high school teams.

Would you consider doing it on that Sunday ? There is a Cba that Saturday and a lot of people won't be able to attend because of it , just a thought .

No. Already set. Also a lot of the kids go to church on Sunday and I'm not going to mess with that. I schedule one Sunday event a year and that's my NBT district 2 day. Sorry.

Do You ever let teams from other states fish? I teach at LFO High and some of the kids want to get some fishing teams up. I know Ga. has a program I just live in Tennessee and know more people there than here.

We are taking roll at central high school and will contact you by Friday for a list of boats if we can put it together on time
